SSTConsulting, LLC is Hiring a Fleet Maintenance Manager Near Jackson, MS
FLEET MAINTENANCE MANAGER
Jackson, Mississippi based manufacturing company has an immediate need to employ an experienced and qualified individual to fill the role of Fleet Maintenance Manager. This is a high-level position that is responsible for the maintenance, purchasing, inventory data base, and disposal of the company’s fleet of trucks, end loaders, pickups and passenger vehicles. This includes supervision of multiple shop facilities, ensuring they operate in an efficient, and safe manner, as well as within budgetary guidelines. Must manage all aspects of fleet inventory database, which includes ensuring that PM’s are scheduled and performed in a timely manner. Will supervise one fleet clerk, with indirect supervisory responsibilities for 15 to 20 fleet maintenance specialists. Qualifications include at least five years’ experience managing fleet and shop maintenance operations. An associate degree or additional education preferred. Strong knowledge of mechanical/repair and maintenance of heavy industrial trucks/vehicles, including a thorough understanding of truck equipment specifications, operations and repair codes. Prefer a candidate with hands on maintenance experience. Solid computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) with a knowledge of fleet management software (Dossier preferred). Basic accounting knowledge and experience with budgets, with excellent organizational and people management skills. Salary range is 90K to 120K. Company offers a comprehensive benefit package including a company vehicle.
